Introduction
The Boltonia is family run in an excellent central position in Blackpool with the benefits of its own private car park. Our Dining Room is light & spacious on the ground floor. Vegetarian & special diets are happily catered for by prior arrangement. Single, Double, Twin & Family rooms are available on just two floors. All Rooms are En-suite showers & toilets, tea/coffee making facilities, free view LCD televisions, and Hair dryers & are all centrally heated.
We have a licensed bar with a pool table very family friendly & on the Ground floor.
Pre-Arrival
• Website accessibility with free wifi is available just ask for code.
• Information about public transport and routes, types of public transport, distance & accessibility can be given.
• Distance to Blackpool centre & attractions are within a 2-5 mins walk.
• Areas for Disabled Parking are available in the town as are Public transport & taxis with wheel chair access.
• Arrangements can be made for storage of Medical Supplies prior to arrival.
• Nearest shop-mobility scheme & equipment hire services the Telephone Numbers & address is available.
• There are 43 Radar toilets in Blackpool with a full list available.
• Availability of accessible taxis Telephone Numbers available.
• Accommodation is only suitable for guests with mobility impairment who are accompanied (possibly to ensure the safety of the guest)
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
• Car parking for 14 cars. 
• Please book and advice on size of car and time of arrival.
• Assistance offered for parking & carrying of luggage from car park to entrance & room.
• A drop off point at the front of the building with a dropped curb can be used to drop off luggage & then park the Car.
• Type of surface is tarmac on roads and paths to entrance.
• There is rear access to a vehicle once it is parked.
• The contact phone number is displayed externally.
• The signage is clear & painted on the outside of the Building & at the entrance there is a pictorial framed information box.
There is a door bell which can be rung to allow access if any difficulties arise.
• The Car park is on the front & to the side it is all tarmac & flat levelled & cars can be easily accessed—¦
•There are 5 steps to the entrance door with handrails to both sides.
• If no parking space is available public parking is only 3 Mins away & is Pay & display.
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area
•the entrance is at the front of the building, there are 5 steps with handrails on both sides.
• Door type of main entrance is single leaf, side hung, with Door bell to the left hand side if assistance is needed.
• Assistance with Luggage is provided please inform us of requirement at time of booking.
• Seating available in bar area near the entrance.
• Pad & pen available on arrival if help with communication is needed.
• Music can be turned down on request in bar area.
• Additional keys to rooms are available on request.
• Information & help is offered in familiarization of the area & with 'what’s on'. 
• Entrance has lighting, signage & doormats. 
• Reception desk is in front of you as you walk into the building, 
• The entrance & reception area all lead into the bar/lounge & dining room & are all on the ground floor which is all flat surfaced. 
• Clear price signs are provided at reception
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
• There are no Lifts or Escalators in the building.
• The Boltonia is carpeted throughout except the en-suite bathrooms & public toilets which are all vinyl laminated floors

• Dinning Area: seats 46 people with their own room or group booking tables.
• Bar Area: Has seating for approx 40 people.

• Lounge/Bar area is on the ground floor to the right as you enter the building & reception area with manual doors.

• Fire doors are throughout the building with glass sections on Dining room, bar/lounge & connecting area doors.
• How wide are corridors and are there restrictions to the width?
• There are no ramps in the Building.

 Public WCs
• There are 2 Public toilets which are on the first floor up 17 steps from the bar door & the reception area.
• The toilets with push door openings have lighting which comes on automatically on entrance.
• Floor surface is vinyl laminate.
• Basin & Hand dryer are in the toilets.
Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Bar area, Take Away & Cafe
• Dining Room is on the left as you enter the front of the building in the reception area.
• Seating for 46 people on tables which are moveable & groups can all sit together.
• Chairs do not have arms on them in the dining area.
• Menus can be written larger & staff will help on taking orders.
• Waitress service at the table is standard but self service is available if you require.
• Allergies & special dietary requirements can be catered for.
• We are totally non - smoking
• Bar area
• is on the Right as you enter the front of the building in the reception area.
• Seating for approx 40 people.
• Pool Table with spot light & Fruit machine is available.
• Bar Price list is on the wall.

 Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared]
• All rooms have their own En-suite bathrooms, the showers which are step in showers with corner sliding doors.
• Floor surface in all bathrooms are Vinyl laminate.
• Shower Doors are all corner sliding except one shower has a shower curtain in Room 16 the Double room.
• Basins all have two taps.
Additional Information
• Evacuation procedures are in place with clear escape routes. Fire assembly point is across the road at the Council building. Staff training & alarms throughout are provided to help with fire evacuation procedure.  
• Hiring equipment Telephone numbers are available at reception.
• We have a No Smoking policy.
• Availability of fridges for storing medications and special dietary foods is pre book able at a small charge or can be stored in our private fridge with no charge.
• Availability of staff to help with assistance for carrying luggage etc is available.
• Emergency call procedures & numbers to contact are available.
